With a deep passion for the water and sailing, Matt Thompson has spent over two decades perfecting his craft on the open seas. His love affair with sailing began at 18 years old, and since then, he’s logged thousands of hours on various waters, including the Pacific, Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean, and sailing the Southern waters of the California Channel Islands. His sailing travels has taken him on unforgettable offshore passages, giving him invaluable experience and a true understanding of what it means to maintain and care for a yachts in all conditions.

Along with his sailing expertise, Matt has restored multiple boats, honing his skills in both craftsmanship and technical repair. This combination of hands-on experience and a passion for the maritime lifestyle led him to open his own marine service business.

Before pursuing his love for yachts full-time, Matt worked as a Service Manager for a high-end AV Integrator, specializing in sophisticated electronics and control systems. Providing the highest level of service to his clients, including most of the Theme Parks, Stadiums, and Performing Arts Theaters in Southern California. Matt took on the roll of Technical Site Director for Water Stunt Show Project in Nha Trang, Vietnam. This put all of his many technical skills to the test. Before moving to SoCal in 2010, he also gained valuable experience as an RV Electrical Specialist, which gave him a strong foundation in electrical systems and problem-solving.


Today, Matt combines his technical background with his love for the water to offer top-notch boat services, ensuring every vessel is safe, functional, and ready to take on any adventure. Whether it's a simple repair or a full restoration, he approaches each project with care, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.
